Trust In The Lord

I’m tired of the hating

I’m watching and waiting

If anything else arises

I’m done paying the prices

I’m burning, drowning and slowly dying

I walked down the street

With standards I’ve to meet

They are too much for me

All I want to do is flee

I’m working, I’m trying, but can’t hold on.

I got hit with more pain

And I’m just sick and tired

I’m not sure if I’m still sane

I feel like I’m undesired

More pain, not sane, and I won’t remain

I’m on the bridge of despair

The steel feels like it’s consuming me

I’m broken beyond repair

No one ever wants me

Now I jump, I’ll die, and I’ll be free

Lea didn’t die

She decided not to say bye

She started to trust in the Lord

And didn’t give up

Didn’t perish, was cherished, and started to flourish

For people who think they’re done

Dying is not the way out

In the long run

Trust in God while you’re dealing with trouble

And your leaves will be green when you come out of the rubble

-Jermiah 17:7,8

KEEP YOUR FAITH IN GOD

There was a man in a land

And his possessions were grand

He always worshipped the Lord

A man he adored

But then things started to change

In a matter of days

His life went ablaze

His children and possessions left

From death, fire and theft

But he never turned from the Lord

He eventually got relief

By staying with his belief

All his belongings were doubled

At the end of all the trouble

He survived and lived a happy life

BASED ON THE STORY OF JOB
